There is a difference between Manufacturers Defect, and Shipping Damage, therefore, if you notice an anomaly if any kind STOP - and read this before going any further.
WARRANTY POLICY
- All products manufactured by Motherlode Prospecting Supplies Ltd., are protected by a 30 Day Replacement or Repair Warranty, against Manufacturers defects, unless the product is sold specifically, as a defective product and any such defects are recorded.
- All products NOT manufactured by Motherlode Prospecting Supplies Ltd., may or may not be covered, and may or may not have warranty verbiage included in the packaging. We try to list items that do have a warranty on our site, but may not be conclusive. If in doubt, contact us.
- In all cases, it is up to the customer to examine their purchase within a reasonable time of delivery (physical possession by you), in order to check for obvious shipping damage (see below for policy on shipping damage), or defect, and (if able ) test it out in order to identify any manufacturer defects that may affect the function of the product you purchased.
- IF YOU FIND A DEFECT, DAMAGED OR MISSING PARTS - CONTACT US DURING BUSINESS HOURS IMMEDIATELY, OR BY CONTACT FORM! Do not return anything without instructions.
- For Motherlode Prospecting Supplies Products, what may appear as defects may not be, please view the checklist at the bottom of this page, and if in doubt, contact us.
- If you purchased a "Motherlode Prospecting Supplies Ltd." product from a Dealer, you are required to make your claims through the dealer you originally made your purchase through within 30 days from date you received it by pickup or shipping. You can accomplish this by phone during business hours, or email after business hours.
- Only under mitigating circumstances will we exceed the 30 days, if unsure, please contact your dealer for clarification.
- If possible - only the "defective" parts will be replaced on products manufactured by Motherlode Prospecting Supplies Ltd., as per this policy!
This Policy Is valid ONLY for items shipped from Motherlode Prospecting Supplies Ltd.
If you made your purchase through an authorized dealer or re-seller, you must contact them for assistance.
If you have received your order from us, ALL our shipments are insured, and if there has been shipping damage to the contents, you must CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY by phone during business hours or contact form within 7 days of delivery, to notify us of the problem.
DO NOT CONTACT THE SHIPPER DIRECTLY as we have to make the claim as per shipping insurance policy.
Follow These Directions if you suspect shipping damage.....
- When your order arrives, look at the exterior of the box - is it damaged? If so, take pictures of all exterior damage BEFORE opening.
- NEXT - open the box, and take a picture BEFORE removing anything. As you remove product, and find any VISUAL damage inside - DO NOT REMOVE IT UNTIL YOU TAKE PICTURE(S) OF IT IN PLACE.
- Continue as each product is uncovered and removed.
- Once you have identified damaged items, you can replace them into the box, contact us for instructions.
- Keep the Box and all packaging ( keep box and packaging as found), Replace all the damaged contents back into the original box(s) and put aside for further instruction.
- You will need to EMAIL your pictures and description of damage to us after you have contacted us.
- Please note, Motherlode Prospecting Supplies Ltd., accepts no liability for damage to any of it's products that have NOT been shipped by us - you must contact the business or person you purchased from.
- No Returns will be accepted unless "PRE AUTHORIZED" by Motherlode Prospecting Supplies Ltd. as per this policy.
- All returns of undamaged goods, must be unused and in their original packaging
- All costs of returning undamaged goods will be born by the returnee.
- There will be a 15% restocking fee on all returns that are pre-authorized, undeliverable or refused at time of delivery.
- Any such refund of pre-authorized, undeliverable or refused orders will consist of product purchase and any associated taxes. Shipping costs are Non-Refundable"
- No Refunds will issued until the return as been received by us in it's original packaging, and in condition stated in this policy, with exception of special circumstances as discussed by one of our Agents.
- We cannot accept Returns beyond 30 days of "Delivery".
- ALL RETURNS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, MUST be PRE-APPROVED BY MOTHERLODE PROSPECTING SUPPLIES LTD.
